A Thursday news to finish the term, and what a busy week we’ve had! On Monday, we held our Spring term toddler group session, the children, alongside our Nursery and Reception children, enjoyed some Easter crafts. We will host another in the summer term. On Monday night, lots of children stayed for the Bentham Pet Rescue Film Night fundraiser – which has raised a further £55.00. Thank you to Mrs Mather for renting the film for them all to enjoy… -

We’ve had a busy week in school! Earlier in the week, 14 children joined Mrs Mather for Walk 2 School! Thank you to Cowan Bridge Tea Rooms for our lovely breakfast treats! Our next Walk 2 School is Tuesday 16th April. Also on Tuesday, friends from our cluster of schools joined the infants and nursery children to celebrate Lent. This week has been relatively quiet in school! Thank you to everyone who supported mufti-day and donated chocolate items, there are going to be some fabulous hampers and prizes at the Bunny Drive on 28th March (further details below).Due to the weather, unfortunately the cluster football tournament was postponed earlier this week. We’ve had a busy week in school! On Tuesday morning, 16 children joined Mrs Mather for Walk2School – once again a huge thank you to Cowan Bridge Village Stores for providing the children with their breakfast – they enjoyed toast, soreen and a small slither of chocolate donut. Another fab week in school has whizzed by! At the start of the week, we welcomed Emma to the junior class, in Year 5, she has settled in beautifully and we are sure she will be very happy here at Leck.
