13.05.2022

This week our Y6 children took their SATs. We are extremely proud of the way the children approached these tests, all week they have been extremely mature and positive and we know that they have all tried their very best, which is all that we ask. Thank you Y6 for all your hard work. Some of our Upper Junior children took part in a Kwik Cricket Competition at Over Kellet today and played fantastically well as a team, with outstanding behaviour too. Well done Team Leck!

Walk 2 School Week – all next week we will be encouraging all children to walk to school as often as they can. Any children taking part will enjoy breakfast together when they arrive at school. We will meet daily at 8.20am in the carpark at the back of Cowan Bridge Village Stores.

School Times – as a polite reminder school starts at 9am and finishes at 3.15pm. The doors are open from 8.50am and all children should be in school ready for lessons by 9am. If children arrive after 9am, they should enter via the office door. All junior children should now enter and exit through the hall door.

PTFA News
AGM – we will be holding our AGM on either Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th May – please can parents let us know which date is better suited for them and we will arrange a time and place to suit. There will be various roles to allocate for September 2022, including chair person, vice chair and secretary. Without these vital roles the PTFA will not be able to operate. All money raised by the PTFA benefits all children in school.
