Wow! What a busy week we’ve had in school! On Tuesday, we received our Y6 SAT results – we were blown away with how the children approached the tests back in May and their hard work paid off; well done Y6!
Some of our lower junior children got the chance to take part in a cluster Orienteering event at Quernmore on Tuesday. We all had a really enjoyable morning.
Journée française – on Wednesday, the whole school enjoyed taking part in our third French morning. Our theme this time was French culture and the children chose to focus on 2 of the following: food, music,  celebrations, fashion and art. They had a fantastique morning and produced some lovely collages for our display. The food at snack time was described as: sublime, delicious, surprising, interesting and exciting. Thank you to all our families for providing the magnifique snacks.
On Wednesday afternoon a group of junior children took part in a Kwik Cricket tournament. We got through to the semi-finals and played brilliantly as a team.
This week we have had Ellie Welbank here doing her Y10 work experience. It has been lovely having Ellie back in school, and the junior children have all loved having her in class supporting their learning. We wish you all the very best for your future Ellie.

REMINDER: Whole School Trip – Fleetwood – 13th July – we have planned for all children from Reception through to Y6 to attend a whole school trip to Fleetwood.
The KS2 children will be visiting Glazey Days, whilst the Infant children will visit Fleetwood Museum. These two visits tie in with our current curriculum topics. We will then meet together for lunch.
