What a brilliant way to end a brilliant term! We have had such a fun-filled, busy week in school.
The children all did fantastically well in Church on Monday, with their individual readings and beautiful Carol singing. We hope all families enjoyed the service.
On Tuesday, all children got the chance to spend their pocket money and buy a gift for someone they love, it was really lovely to see them all enthusiastically choosing gifts for someone special. Thank you to all the parents for enabling us to do this.
On Wednesday, the whole school enjoyed a visit to the panto (oh no they didn’t!) We would really like to the PTFA and former family for paying for this trip for them.
On Thursday, the children all received a gift from a very special visitor. It was lovely to see the children so excited to see Father Christmas.
And finally, today, all children have thoroughly enjoyed the school council pyjama party today. The cakes supplied by The Goat Gap Café were an absolute treat! Thank you to Mr Hurst for agreeing to supply these.

Stamps – we still have a large quantity of the new barcoded stamps in the office – if you would like to buy any at the current cost, please pop into the office and we can sell them – just in time for the Christmas cards! 95p First Class and 68p Second Class.

After School Club
Dance – we have had a good take up for the dance after school sessions starting on Friday 6th January from 3.15-4.15pm. Payment has now been set up on SchoolMoney. If your child/ren would like to join please email Mrs Knapp.
Wellbeing Warriors – Tuesday 10th January –
these sessions are designed to incorporate elements of yoga, relaxation and mindfulness in a fun way. We will practise mindfulness through movement, breathing techniques, yoga, games, music and art. Your child will learn valuable skills to build confidence and resilience, and learn techniques to manage anxiety and stress. If you are interested in your children joining please email Mrs Knapp. Payment will then be made available on SchoolMoney.

School Money end of month reminders have been sent out this morning to anyone with outstanding payments for Early Morning Club, Film Club and School Meals. There are a number of accounts with quite high balances from November – please can we ask that account balances are kept to a minimum. Thank you.

Eco-Club – Hot Chocolate and… will continue on a Tuesday after Christmas. Any children wishing to have hot chocolate and a snack should bring in £4.50 in a named envelope to cover to the end of term.

PTFA – we would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who supports our fundraising efforts; all money raised benefits all children in school. This month has been a great success, and we hope all the children and parents / grandparents etc. enjoyed our get together yesterday!

And Finally…… as this is the last newsletter of the term, may I, Mr Stafford-Roberts, and all staff wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Thank you for all the lovely cards and gifts we have received in school. We look forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday 4th January 2023!
