Young Voices
Friday February 10th– Children will be leaving Leck at 10.30am, with a brunch being provided by the cook at Hornby School (so that they have one hot meal during the day), any children who don’t usually have a lunch on a Friday will need to pay £2.20. Children will need to bring a packed tea and a drink – please note, no glass bottles are allowed in the arena. All children need to come to school in their uniforms, with a plain white t-shirt if they have not ordered a Young Voices one. Children are also requested to take a tin of food for the charity ‘Fareshare’.
We will keep you informed by Teachers2Parents, the school text messaging service, regarding the time you will need to pick your child up from school, it is likely to be around 11.00pm.  Please could any parents who will find it easier to collect children from Hornby St Margaret’s, please let us know.
Any parents who ordered tickets will find them enclosed in this week’s Friday bag.
If anyone has any questions regarding the day, please don’t hesitate to come and talk to us in the office and we will endeavour to find the answers. A full information sheet will be included in next week’s Friday bags.
Don’t forget, if any parents would be interested in car sharing to the Young Voices concert, please contact Mrs Vanessa Christie directly on 015242 64879 or see her at school.

Morning Drop Off
Please may we remind you that any children dropped off in the morning should be dropped off in the church car park, not the school car park, and will remain unsupervised in the playground until the bus children arrive and come out at approximately 8.50am. If parents need to leave their child before 8.50am, the Early Bird Morning Club is available up to this time.

Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers
We will be collecting the Active Kids vouchers again this year. Sainsbury’s shoppers will receive a voucher for every £10 spent in the supermarket, online or at the petrol station. The vouchers will start to be given out from 25th January 2017. Please collect as many as you can, and encourage friends and family to do the same and put them in the box outside the office or via your child’s Friday bag. . The more vouchers collected the more sports and cooking equipment can be chosen by school for the children to use.
Thank you in advance.

Craft Projects
We’re still on the look-out for plastic carrier bags, polystyrene pizza bases, newspapers and empty pringle crisp tubes please for some upcoming projects. Thank you in advance.
