14.10.2022

We have had another busy week in school! On Monday, the infant children enjoyed their visit to Borwick Hall Outdoor Education Centre. Children took part in different activities throughout the day, and pictures have been added to our Facebook page.
It was lovely to welcome so many parents into school on Wednesday for Parent Meetings. We hope you all enjoyed looking through your children’s work. Teachers really do value this time to catch up with parents, but please remember if at any other time you would like to speak to a teacher about your child you can arrange a mutually convenient appointment for after school.

Infants – to finish off our Fairy Tales topic, we will be watching Tangled next week. It is rated PG. Any concerns, please email Mrs Knapp.

Upper Junior Rugby Tournament – some of our Y5 & 6s have been chosen to take part in the cluster rugby event at Wray next Tuesday. A full information sheet is attached for the children involved.  Please be aware children will need a packed lunch.

Music Tuition – we are wanting to gauge the interest of families for the provision of private music tuition in school. In previous years, pre-covid, we have had piano, guitar and ukulele lessons. Please send Mrs Knapp an email if your child/ren would be interested and what instrument they may be interested in learning to play and we can look into it. Thank you.
