10.11.2023

We have had a relatively quiet week in school.  On Monday we welcomed a small group of pre-school children to our Toddler Stay & Play session. The children enjoyed various crafts, as well as a Diddi Dance session. We plan for these mornings to be held once a term, so please keep a look out for the next one!
On Tuesday, our Walk 2 School children enjoyed toast, soreen & croissants, kindly provided by Cowan Bridge Village Stores after a cold walk up to school. Our next walk will be on Tuesday 21st November.
This week, Mrs Moorby, our lovely lunchtime assistant has handed in her notice and she is moving away from the area, we will be sorry to see her go, but wish her all the best for the future. Mrs Moorby will be with us until the end of November, and an advert has been distributed – please see below.

To kick start the week, on Monday we will be wearing odd socks to show our individuality! and we will be doing some work on this in school.  Some useful information for parents about what is classed as bullying & how to help your child if they are being bullied or are bullying others is available online; https://www.bullying.co.uk/advice-for-parents

Eco-School News – this year, we would like to encourage all children NOT to send each and every child in the class / school (in some cases) a Christmas card. Whilst we celebrate the act of giving, we would like to actively encourage all children to just send one card, or draw a festive picture, which we can display in school over the festive period.
