We’ve had a busy week in school! On Tuesday morning, 16 children joined Mrs Mather for Walk2School – once again a huge thank you to Cowan Bridge Village Stores for providing the children with their breakfast – they enjoyed toast, soreen and a small slither of chocolate donut.
Also on Tuesday, the infant children enjoyed their Forest School session in the beautiful sunshine (albeit a little chilly). The children worked in teams to build dens and shelters.
On Wednesday and Thursday this week, our upper junior children took part in some bikeability training.
We were so pleased that everyone took part and gave it a try, despite the nerves. Well done to all our Y5 & 6s.
It was lovely to welcome so many parents into school on Wednesday for Parent Meetings. We hope you all enjoyed looking through your children’s work. Teachers really do value this time to catch up with parents, but please remember if at any other time you would like to speak to a teacher about your child you can arrange a mutually convenient appointment for after school.

Football – a full information sheet is attached for the children taking part in the football tournament at Arkholme on Tuesday.  Children should arrive at school in their kit, ready for the bus departing at 9am.
Football Boots – if anyone has any spare football boots – in size 10, 1 & 3 please can we borrow these? They will be well looked after and returned after the tournament. Thank you in advance.
