We’ve had a busy week in school! Earlier in the week, 14 children joined Mrs Mather for Walk 2 School! Thank you to Cowan Bridge Tea Rooms for our lovely breakfast treats! Our next Walk 2 School is Tuesday 16th April. Also on Tuesday, friends from our cluster of schools joined the infants and nursery children to celebrate Lent. There were numerous outdoor activities related to the Easter Story. Many thanks to all the children and schools who attended, and a very big thank you to our Mrs Mather and the infant team for organising such a lovely day for the children. On Wednesday our nursery and infant children went out to Sedbergh for the morning, thank you to the PTFA for funding the transport costs. The children explored Fairfield Mill, looking at how textiles are produced and had a go at hand weaving on their own loom.  On Thursday evening, parents of children taking part in the gymnastics competition next week, showed their routines off to an audience for the first time! Well done children and a huge thank you to Mrs Jones and Mrs Wilson who have spent many Thursday and Fridays after school perfecting the routines with children.
