Another lovely week in school has passed! Earlier this week, all parents / carers should have received an email from Mr Peter King, our Chair of Governors, confirming the successful appointment of Mrs Davison as our new Executive Head Teacher between here and Hornby St Margaret’s. We are sure you will join all the children and staff in congratulating Mrs Davison; we are all very pleased with the appointment and look forward to continuing to work alongside her.
On Thursday, Katy and Harold visited school as part of the Lancashire Life Education programme. The children took part in a variety of PSHE activities – Reception learnt ‘All About Me’, Year 1/2 learnt about ‘My Wonderful Body’, the Year 3/4 session was all about how ‘It’s Great to be Me’ and Year 5/6 focused on ‘Friends’. The children, as always were beautifully behaved and engaged in the sessions and Katy commented on how she was made to feel so welcome by everyone.
