Governor News –
Your governing body has recently invited me to become its Chair a position I am delighted to accept. As a result, I would like to introduce myself to you and your children – the most important part of our school community.
My name is Stuart Hemingway, I live in the local area, and I have been a school governor for over ten years first of all at Leck St Peter’s and then at Hornby St. Margaret’s through the federation of the two schools. Before I retired, I was Head Teacher of a high school in Leeds.
The governing body exists to be a critical friend to our Head Teacher, Mrs Davison, and all her staff and to support everything they do to help your children reach their potential in a safe, happy and caring environment.
The current governing body is made up of a very experienced team of parents, staff, members of the community and of course the Church. If you would like to know more about the work of the governing body, please feel free to contact me through the school.

Warm regards,

Stuart Hemingway
