We have had another fabulously festive week in school! On Monday, our junior children enjoyed a Christmas dodgeball party. From the office it sounded like a very enjoyable party!!
On Wednesday we all enjoyed our annual Christmas Party, and Father Christmas even managed to spare some time to come and visit the children.
Earlier today, all children in school have baked some delicious festive treats, there are some beautiful smells coming from the kitchen.
We have rounded the festivities off this morning by singing Carols by Candlelight all together.
School Value – our value for this half-term was “gentleness”. We have focused on this in our assemblies and class worship. This half term in school we have celebrated children who have shown gentleness in various different ways; well done to our stars of the week during Autumn term 2:
- Eirlys
- Arabella
- Alex
- Freya M-T
- Harrison
- Violet

PTFA News –
Autumn Term 100 Square – thank you once again for supporting the 100 square – two of our youngest children in school enabled the random number generator and the lucky winner was Hayley Fawcett sharing the £100 fund between them and the PTFA.
Autumn 2024 – so far this year, the PTFA have held several fundraising events, raising a total profit of £953.04. From this they have funded the coach to the pantomime and bought all children at the Christmas party a treat from Father Christmas. Planning for Spring events will start in the New Year – any new ideas gratefully received, look out for the date of our next meeting. We would like to say a great big thank you to everyone who supports all our fundraising efforts; all money raised benefits all children in school.
And Finally…… as this is the last newsletter of the term, may I, Mrs Davison, and all staff wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
