This week has been relatively quiet in school, particularly today as our Juniors headed off for a day at the seaside! At the time of writing, children will be drying off, enjoying their lunch at the café. We look forward to hearing all about it when they return a little later. Payment is available on SchoolMoney, please let me know if you are struggling to access.
REMINDER: Whole School Photograph – whole school photo proofs were sent home earlier this week – please place all orders by Monday to allow time for delivery back to school. Thank you.
Personal Achievements – all children are encouraged to bring any recent outside of school achievements into school. We look forward to seeing what the children get up to and enjoy outside of school.
REMINDER: SchoolMoney – as we approach the end of the school year, regular reminders of overdue accounts are scheduled. There are still a couple of accounts with balances from last financial year. Please try to keep balances low and make payments as soon as possible. If you are struggling to log in, please pop into the office. Thank you.
REARRANGED: Sports Day – we are all looking forward to Sports Day on Thursday at 1.15pm, and hoping the weather holds out. Children should bring in a t-shirt in their house colour. If your child/ren are unsure of which house team they are in please email and we will let you know.
Trophies & Badges – please can all trophies for end of year awards and school council & librarian badges be returned to the office by Friday 4th July.
30 Days of Wild – in school, all the children have been having a great time participating in the 30 Days of Wild. We’ve truly loved engaging in all the wild activities during June – a big thank you to Mrs Mather for organising this each day for our children to enjoy.
Year 6 Fundraising Afternoon – Monday 30th June – on Monday afternoon, Year 6 will be organizing a fundraising mini summer fair. They have conducted research and calculated the costs for the ingredients and resources needed for their stall.
The offerings will include lollipops, slushes, keyrings, face painting, brownies, fruity drinks, cakes, and games. Prices will vary from 20p to £1, children are welcome to bring a small amount of money to school if they’d like to join in.
Please inform us if you do not wish for your child to take part in face painting.
From 3.30pm, parents, carers and siblings are warmly invited to come along and join the excitement! The event will finish at 4.00pm. Thank you for supporting our Year 6 children.
KS2 Summer Showcase – Tuesday 1st July –
we’re excited to invite all KS2 parents and carers to our Summer Showcase, where the children will be sharing some of the fantastic poetry and dance they’ve been working on this term.
To help set the scene, children are asked to bring in a bag of summer clothes – shorts, T-shirts, hats, sunglasses, etc – to change into on the day.
At 2:45pm, parents are invited into school to enjoy the performances. We look forward to seeing you there!
Y6 Treat Day – Wednesday 9th July – a letter was sent last week for all parents of Year 6 children regarding an afternoon of fun of Laser Tag at Greenlands Farm, to celebrate completing their primary school journey. We are missing most of the consent slips for this, please return if you wish for your child to take part. If you require a printed copy, please call into the office.
PTFA News –
Jumble Sale – WOW! What can we say! We are amazed to announce that the jumble sale raised £850.50 at the jumble sale on Saturday. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this in any way, from donations to helping on the day and everything in between.
100 Square – we started a 100 square at the jumble sale and still have several squares left available. Each square is £1 and the winner will win 50% of the number of squares sold and the other £100/50% will go into PTFA funds!
