Whole School Trip to Preston

For our next school trip we will be visiting Preston on Tuesday 24th November to visit the Gujarat Hindi Temple.  This is an exciting trip which relates to our RE lessons on Diwali.  It also relates to our work on Global learning and British values.  There will be an opportunity to buy spices from an Indian Supermarket and for the children to enjoy an Indian meal for lunch.  The cost for the trip is £10 per child, if you haven’t already please complete the form on last week’s newsletter and return your payment as soon as possible.  If you would like your child to buy some spices please send a list and some extra money on the day.

Football Club

Please make sure your child’s PE kit and trainers are in school for the Morecambe Football Club sports session on Tuesday. Given our ever changing weather, please always ensure your child has tracksuit bottoms or similar, a warm top and a waterproof in school just in case!  This week will be the last football session for our junior children.  Infant children will work with Morecambe Football Club from 1st December on multi skills.  This will be outside when possible so please ensure your child has outdoor trainers and warm clothing in school with their PE kit.  Many thanks.
