We’ve had another fun-filled week in school! This morning, the hall was a hive of activity as the Y3/4 children were busy preparing their fruit mocktails. All children were given the opportunity to purchase one, after being wowed by their persuasive adverts and posters. Well done lower juniors! What a great week we have had! It was strangely quiet from 9.15am on Monday, as our junior class embarked on their residential visit to Malham. It has been really lovely to hear the children excitedly retell their adventures. They enjoyed pond dipping, a visit to Skipton Castle and White Scar Caves, as well as spending time with their friends. We’ve had another great week in the sunshine! On Monday we welcomed Hamish and Harold, (a black moor and a golden oranda goldfish) to the junior classroom. The children wanted to spend the money they made from the half term entrepreneur challenge on a class pet. After a lot of deliberation, persuasive writing and voting we finally have our pets. What a fabulously sunny fun-filled first week back!
