What a fabulous week we’ve had in school to round off a brilliant half term. It was great to see so many children enthusiastically choosing gifts to give to loved ones on Monday afternoon – many thanks to all the parents for enabling us to do it. The pantomime was thoroughly enjoyed by all children on Tuesday morning, it was lovely to hear the raucous laughter, cheering and booing from the office. We have had another great week in school; all children enjoyed their Christmas dinner on Wednesday. The junior class also had a fantastic visit from Lancaster University, which rounded off their Science topic on Earth and Space brilliantly. All children designed their own planets and enjoyed sharing them with class. Pictures have been added to our Facebook page. This week has been relatively quiet in school; however, the Christmas preparations are all in full swing. Please can we ask parents to encourage all children to practise their lines over the weekend. We do not want to be seeing any scripts next week! Thank you. We would also like to remind everyone that costumes are due in by Monday. Many thanks to all those which are already in.
