We’ve come to the end of half term, with another busy week in school and the glimpse of some better weather. Fingers crossed it continues. The infant and nursery children all enjoyed their first session with Emma from Soccer Hub Coaching, and are really looking forward to developing their skills after half term. We’ve had a busy week in school. We all enjoyed a walk out to Springs Wood on Tuesday afternoon, to look for, and sketch the signs of Spring. The weather was lovely and all children enjoyed spending the afternoon outside drawing.On Wednesday our infant children went out on their first school trip of the year to the Dales Countryside Museum. We have had a really lovely week in school. This week we joined the nation and participated in some Mental Health Awareness Week activities – the theme this year being ‘connect with nature’. On Tuesday our Upper Juniors went climbing on Hutton Roof Crags for the day, we were very lucky to get the best of the weather and the children all had a thoroughly enjoyable day. We’ve had a busy week in school. The infant children had a wonderful morning in the woods for Forest School on Wednesday and made a brilliant bug hotel! We are hoping we may have had some guests arrive before our next session on Tuesday!On Thursday, the junior children walked to Springs Wood and took part in a gratitude activity.
