We have had a fairly busy week in school this week. On Tuesday, the junior children had a visit from Lancaster University with their Planetarium Dome. All the children were fascinated and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The infant children celebrated Thanksgiving on Tuesday as part of their topic work. We’ve had a lovely week in school. This week in school we have been thinking about anti-bullying week and how we can reach out to other people if we are being bullied or see other children being bullied. We joined the nation by wearing our odd socks on Monday, to show that we’re all different, but all important. We have had a fairly quiet week in school. With the weather turning wetter and colder, please can we encourage all children to come to school with appropriate outdoor clothing. This includes appropriate outdoor PE kit and trainers too as we will try to get out whatever the weather! As always, a spare pair of socks in their PE kit wouldn’t go a-miss either. Thank you. This week we welcomed Doc from Lancaster University into school, who, over the course of two days, worked with all the juniors on STEM workshops.
