We’ve had a rather busy week in school this week, our school councillors from Y4, 5 & 6 came back with lots of tips and ideas for running a school council on Tuesday. On Wednesday afternoon, all children took part in the Harvest activity afternoon, which was full of autumnal crafts and baking. We’ve had a relatively quiet week in school this week. Fitness club was back on Monday, all the children seem to have enjoyed it – even with the weather turning at the last minute! It was lovely to see Rev Wendy Thornton (Methodist Minister at Kirkby Lonsdale Methodist Church) back for an assembly on Thursday morning. What a fabulous first full week back at school we’ve all had – we all enjoyed a great day out at Westmorland Show yesterday, seeing lots of different animals and sampling some wonderful food in the food hall. Some children were also lucky enough to speak to the Countess of Wessex.
