We’ve had another fun-filled week in school! At the start of the week, we had our first Reception starters visit – this will continue over the next couple of weeks where our new starters will also stay for lunch in readiness for joining Reception class in September. Wow! What a week! All this week we have spent a day focusing on different curriculum areas. We started the week with a French / DT Day – the Y6 children playing an integral part! They each planned and prepared a different activity to share with the other children in school based on The Very Hungry Caterpillar. In the afternoon, children chose to work n groups or independently to build a junk modelling French landmark. There were some amazing creations!… -

We’ve had another great week in school! On Monday, our junior children had a wonderful day at Tower Wood – and the weather stayed fine too! Children took part in in water and land-based activities, including climbing and rowing. We have added a few photos of our day to the school Facebook page. Our junior children are out again today, at the Dales Museum in Hawes – to aide our WW2 learning. We can’t wait to hear all about it… -

What a busy first week back! We hope everyone enjoyed the half-term break and is ready to go for the final half-term of the year.
