This week has been a busier week in school, infant children from Hornby St Margaret’s joined us for Forest School on Monday, children took some beautiful nature photographs and put their artistic skills to the test by sketching them out. This week has been a relatively quiet week in school as we build up to some of the busiest! Swimming and Morecambe football continue for the next few weeks – swimming finishes on 12th December and football on 17th December – please can parents help their children to remember their kit – particularly outdoor PE kit, warm jogging bottoms and a jumper! We’ve had a very busy week at school; we’ll start by saying what an enjoyable day the juniors had at Tower Wood, the upper juniors were working towards their sailing qualifications, whilst the lower juniors paddled in canoes and did some tree climbing and abseiling – photos can be seen on our Facebook page. It is Thursday, not Friday but the majority of our children will be out at Tower Wood tomorrow so we are sending our ‘Friday’ bags today. We have had a fairly busy week in school, the infants thoroughly enjoyed their first Tower Wood session of this academic year - they went on a bear hunt, built campfires and toasted bread and marshmallows!
