The next couple of weeks leading up to half-term are relatively quiet; hence a short newsletter!

 

Home-School Agreement

Enclosed in this week’s Friday bag is a copy of our annual Home-School agreement which we are legally bound, by the government, to agree with parents. This agreement is reviewed by both the school governors and with the school council.

Please discuss the agreement with your child at the level you feel they will understand, sign and return to school- thank you.

Infants Healthy Snacks Task

On Monday 1st February the infant children will be making healthy snacks (provided by school).  They will be selling the snacks as part of their maths topic work so we are asking each of the infant children to bring in 50p on Monday please.  A variety of change making up 50p would be helpful.  Many thanks.

Bills, Bills, Bills

Junior Dinner Bills are included in the relevant Friday bags today, please can parents ensure these are paid by Monday 8th February at the latest to allow time for banking before half-term.  Can we also remind junior parents that the balance for the Malham Trip in June needs to be paid by the end of March. Payment cards were sent out last term, please do come and talk to us if you have misplaced the card or if payment by March is difficult. Many thanks.

Head Lice

There appears to be an outbreak of head lice in school at present. Please would all parents check their children asap and treat appropriately to stop them spreading.  Various treatment methods are outlined on the NHS website www.nhs.uk/conditions/head-lice
