Friday 26th February
Dear Parents,
Just to say hello from your new school admin officer. I have enjoyed my first week here at Leck St Peter’s and getting to know everyone. I have previously worked in a large primary school for nine years so I do know a little about school life! Please feel free to call into the office anytime or give me a call/email if there is anything I can do to help. My hours are Mon & Tues 8am – 3.30pm, Thursday 9am – 3.15pm, Friday 8.45am– 3.30pm. Also the Book People have left a new order if you wish to have a look. It is just outside the Office. If you wish to order anything, please complete the form and hand your payment to me. Have a lovely weekend, Mrs Dyson.

World Book Day – Thursday 3rd March
World Book Day is a day set aside every year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators. A key aim to World Book Day is to give every child in the UK a book of their own to keep and in this week’s bag, you will find a £1 World Book Day token which can be exchanged for one of eight exclusive World Day Books. We are asking Children to bring in their favourite book to share on the day.
Booksellers all over the UK are participating in the scheme so you can find your local bookshop at www.booksellers.org.uk/bookshopsearch. Vouchers can be redeemed between 29th February and 27 March 2016.
Orienteering & Caving – Juniors
March is a little busier with the Junior’s looking forward to Orienteering for years 3/4 on the 18th March and the Upper Juniors years 5/6 Caving on either 16th & 17th March. More details to follow.
