Tulchan

The Infants are going to visit Tulchan on 14^th March as part of their clothing topic for a tour & discussion.

Science Day

As part of National Science Week on 15^th March we will have a Space Theme. If anyone has any ‘space’ related skills, please come forward!

Caving

Years 5 & 6 are going caving on either 16^th or 17^th March.  Please see the information sheet in this week’s Friday Bag for more details of what your child needs to bring and on which day they will be going.

Orienteering

Six of our year 3 & 4 pupils will be orienteering on Friday 18^th March. There is an information sheet, for those children who are participating, in this week’s Friday bag with details of the trip and what they need to bring.

Sport Relief Day

Your child may come to school dressed in their sporty clothes to celebrate Sport Relief. We won’t be collecting money in school but please feel free to donate on the evening to Sport Relief.

Grizedale Forest

Infants are also going to visit Grizedale Forest on Tuesday 29^th March to do the Stick Man Trail as part of our author study of Julia Donaldson – more details to follow.

After School Club & Early Morning Club

Invoices for payment are included in the relevant Friday bags today up to the end of February. If you are paying by cheque please make payable to Lancashire County Council.

Malham Trip

A reminder that the final numbers and balance for the Malham Trip in June needs to be paid by the end of March please.

Gardening Club

This club is restarting after the Easter Holidays due to poor weather and upcoming school trips.

Sorry to see you leave…

Cormac McAnespy, who has been working with the Juniors, will be leaving us today as his placement comes to an end. We will miss him and wish him well in his future teaching career.

‘Messy Church’ Service
