Welcome back to a new term. We hope you had a good holiday as we look forward to a busy term ahead. There are residentials, sports events, day trips and activities to complement daily class teaching!

Tower Wood

The children had another two days of activities at Tower Wood outdoor centre this week which they really seemed to enjoy. We are looking to develop their water based skills both this and next term. We hope they recover over the weekend!

New Netball Club – Juniors

Netball practise will start on Monday 25^th April afterschool until 4.15pm. Please return slip attached if your child wishes to attend.

New Film Club

Starting Tuesday 26^th April after school until 4.15pm– bring 20p for popcorn on the day. Please return slip attached if your child wishes to attend.

New Cricket Club – Juniors

The Lancashire cricket coach will be teaching children during the lunchtime starting Friday 29^th April. Please return slip attached if your child wishes to attend.

Junior visit to Kirkby Lonsdale

The Juniors will be visiting Kirkby Lonsdale next Thursday 28^th April in the morning. Full details are on the information sheet in the Friday bag.

Swimming

Swimming starts again next week. The year 6 children will continue to stay in school until half term for focused teaching, after which they will swap with the year 3 children.

Parents Help Morning

Parent help would be greatly appreciated at School on Saturday 30^th April with some tidying and general maintenance jobs. We intend to start from 9.30 onwards and be finished by 12.00. Well behaved, helpful children are always welcome to come!

PTA

The PTA are meeting in school on Monday 25^th April at 2.30pm. Do come along so you can to help decide on the priorities for events and fundraising.
