This year the Enterprise Committee have chosen to make cupcake cards (Recipe inside) and cupcakes. We really need some help and are hoping that parents may be able to come into school on any of the following Wednesday afternoons to make the cards. The dates are 4^th, 11^th, 18^th & 25^th May and 8^th & 22^nd June. If you can help on any of these dates please let the Office know.

Annual Parental Questionnaire

The Parental Questionnaire is in your child’s Friday bag today. If you can complete and return to School no later than Monday 9^th May 2016.

Parents Help Morning

Parent help would be greatly appreciated at School tomorrow (Saturday 30^th April) with some tidying and general maintenance jobs. We intend to start from 9.30 onwards and be finished by 12.00. Well behaved, helpful children are always welcome to come!

High 5 – Netball Tournament

Children from Years 5 & 6 are attending LRGS on Friday 6^th May for a netball tournament. Please find the visit information sheet in your child’s Friday bag if they are taking part.

School Uniform Sale

School Uniform will be available to purchase on Monday 16^th May afterschool in the hall. Order forms are available for anyone who cannot make it and wishes to purchase new uniform for September.

Infants Forest School Day Arnside

On Monday 23^rd May infants from both Leck St Peter’s and Hornby St Margaret’s will be visiting Arnside to go fossil hunting and have a ‘Seaside Schools Day’. More details to follow.

School Meals

We are currently trialling the Lancashire County Council School Meal Menu and providing two hot meal choices with the Jacket Potato option still as an option. I think you will agree that the meals are excellent value and offer a good choice on a daily basis. If your child wishes to have a school meal just let the Office know.

Parents/Carers Night Out

A night out has been arranged for the Saturday 14^th May. If you are interested please let Diane Lawson know as soon as possible.

Sainsbury’s

Just a reminder that we are still collecting Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. Remind friends and family too!
