Infant Forest School Visit
The infants will be continuing their Forest School Adventures on Monday 19th September with a visit to the wooded area here at Leck School. They will need appropriate outdoor clothing suitable for the weather.  If they have waterproof trousers please send them, as the ground is often damp even if it’s not actually raining.  You could send suncream and midge repellent if you wish which the children can apply themselves.  We will be providing a packed lunch and our usual snack so no need to send anything in.

Nasal Flu Vaccination Years 1, 2 & 3
Year 1, 2 & 3 pupils will find a letter from the NHS Immunisation team in today’s Friday bag. They require you to indicate if you are happy or not for your child to be given the immunisation in school. Please return all forms as soon as you can. If we don’t receive the form in time your child may not be able to have the vaccine. Many thanks.

Helen Howard School of Dance
On Tuesdays after school we may be able to offer an exciting dance club run by the Helen Howard School of Dance. If there is enough interest the sessions will run every Tuesday from 27th September until the Christmas break.  Sessions are great value at £3 and full payment of £36 would be needed before first session to enable your child/ren to take part. Please don’t send any money until we can confirm. If you child/ren are interested please complete the form enclosed and return to school on Monday so that we can make the appropriate arrangements.  If there aren’t enough children unfortunately the classes won’t be able to take place, so please get your replies in straight away to avoid disappointment.  As always this club is of course open to both boys and girls.

Parents Teachers & Friends Association
Your PTFA needs you! As most of you are aware we don’t have a chair person for our PTFA at the moment, if anyone is able to take on this role or get involved in any other way it would be very much appreciated.  For an idea of what’s involved please don’t hesitate to chat to Mr Stafford-Roberts, Vanessa Christie or Jenny Low.  PTFA will be meeting in a few weeks to get things organised, as soon as a date is set we will let you know.

Reminder of Procedures
If you are dropping off or picking up children out of normal school hours please remember to come in through the front door and sign your child in or out.  If your child is unable to take part in PE sessions please let us know by popping in, email, note in the Friday bag or phone call.  If you need to speak to teaching staff at length please do call in advance to make an appointment so that we can give you the attention needed.  Thanks.
