You can drop boxes off in the hall or by the office whichever is easiest for you. Thank you in anticipation of you joining with us to bring hope to children and families in need.
Tower Wood Trips
We will be visiting Tower Wood Outdoor Centre, along with children from Hornby St. Margaret’s. Juniors will go on Monday 31st October, Infants on Thursday 3rd November. This activity centre on the shores of Lake Windermere offers a wide range of both land and water based activities, perfect for a day’s adventure! There will be no charge for these trips, school will be covering the cost of both transport and instructors. Children should wear their own warm clothes, outdoor shoes or boots and will need a waterproof coat. Waterproof trousers would also be useful if they have them. They will require a packed lunch on the day they are going. We have a full day planned and will not be back at school until about 5.15pm on each day. Please let us know if your child(ren) need after school club at the end of the day. An information sheet regarding these trips is included. Should anyone have any concerns or queries about these trips please speak to Mr Stafford-Roberts.
Young Voices Concert
Parents of junior children will have found more information about the Young Voices Concert in last weeks Friday bag. We appreciate that February 2017 seems like a long time away but we are being driven by the organisers deadlines as it is a very popular event. Please do reply regarding audience tickets and t-shirts by Thursday 20th to avoid disappointment. More information can be found on their website, we hope you will agree that this is a fantastic opportunity for all of our junior children. http://www.youngvoices.co.uk
Bills, Bills, Bills
A huge thanks to all those who pay their bills promptly, it really does help us in the office. With the half term fast approaching, we would appreciate it if any outstanding money for school meals is settled by Monday 17th October to allow for banking. Any credits from this half term will be carried forward as usual.
Invoices for Early Morning and After School Club are included in the relevant Friday bags. All cheques should be made payable to Lancashire County Council please.
