Ofsted
We would just like to say thank you for your comments, in person and on the online questionnaire, and support during the inspection day.  The children, as always, were a credit to the school and we are pleased with the outcome. We will send a copy of the report home in the Friday bags as and when it is available.

School Photo
Our school photo is now outside the office to view. If you wish to order a copy the cost is £11.50 and can be ordered through the office.

Infant Cooking Classes
Infant cooking sessions will continue after half term. As usual, the children will be cooking in groups, on a rota basis, on Monday mornings, starting Monday 5^th June. You will find a full letter from Mrs Mather with all the details in the first Friday bag after half term, those baking on the first Monday will have ingredients provided.

Kwik Cricket Competition
Some of the upper juniors will be taking part in a kwik cricket competition at Westgate and Torrisholme Cricket Club on Wednesday 7^th June 2017, a full information sheet is included in this week’s Friday bag for those children involved.

Juniors
Apart from spellings, the juniors will not be given homework during half term as we would like them to enjoy their holiday. The year 3s and 4s have been working on time this week so any reinforcement parents can give will be really useful. Thank you.

Edinburgh
For those parents who couldn’t make the parent meeting at Hornby on Tuesday night, please find enclosed a kit list and itinerary, if you have any questions or concerns please do come and see us.

Library Books
We are on the lookout for some library books, which we need to return to Lancashire School Library Service. They are all branded with a red rose on the spine, please could you have a look over half term and return any you may have to school. Thank you.

Family Club @ the I-Centre
You’ll find a flyer in your Friday bag this week advertising the Family Club run by Ingleton Evangelical Church on Sunday 4^th June at 2.30pm.
