Edinburgh
The children really benefitted from the trip to Edinburgh and the memories it created. Their behaviour was a credit and a number of people commented on this during our visits. They may still need to catch up on some sleep this weekend though!

School Trip to Blackpool
Monday 26th June – we hope the children are excited about our end of term trip, for those of you who haven’t returned it, you will find a permission slip at the bottom of the newsletter. The full cost of the trip is £12.50 per pupil, however, the PTFA have kindly paid for the bus, so we are asking parents for £5 per child towards the cost of the trip. You can send your child in with a little bit of spending money if you wish, as the Sea Life Centre has a gift shop, and there is a rock shop on the front at Lytham. A full information sheet is included in this week’s Friday bag.

Tower Wood
We will once again be visiting Tower Wood Outdoor Centre next week, along with children from Hornby St. Margaret’s, the juniors will be going on Thursday 29th June, and the infants on Friday 30th June for a full day of exciting land and water based activities! Information sheets are enclosed in this week’s Friday bags.

Sports Afternoon – Juniors
Friday 30th June – 12.45pm – 2.45pm all junior children have been invited to take part in an afternoon of sports activities at Hornby St Margaret’s, a full information sheet is enclosed in the Friday bag.

Trophies
Thank you to those who have already returned trophies, we are still missing a few. Please can all trophies be returned to school ready for our end of year awards, thank you.

School Uniform
Please find enclosed a school uniform order form, please place any orders for the next school year by Friday 30th June. Order forms can be handed in at the office via your Friday bags or given to Emma Galley. On Wednesday 28th June after school, there will be a school uniform sale (new and second hand) in the hall.   Maisie is missing a school jumper, which is labelled, please can you all have a look at home and return to school if you have accidently picked it up. Thanks.

PTFA AGM
There will be a PTFA AGM at The Whoop Hall on Monday 26th June at 8pm. Please do come along as there are various roles needed for September. Thank you.

Bills, Bills, Bills
Due to staff absence last week, you will find enclosed last week’s and this week’s school dinner and breakfast club invoices, afterschool club invoices are enclosed from w/c 5th June and 12th June. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Welfare Assistant
We are currently looking for a welfare assistant, are you or anyone you know interested? We need someone to help serve meals and supervise the children during their midday break.  The vacancy is term time only covering Friday from 11.45am – 1.15pm.  Please contact either Mr Stafford-Roberts or the office for more details.

Scholastic Book Club
Thank you to everyone who ordered from our Scholastic Book Club. Please look out for our next Book Club to order great books at great prices and earn loads of free books for our school while you do.
