Thanks in advance.
Christmas Pantomime – this year, the whole school will be visiting “The Snow Dragon” at the Brewery Arts Centre on Tuesday 5th December. Further information regarding the trip will follow shortly. School will be funding the cost of the tickets and as the PTFA have kindly agreed to fund the coach to Kendal, this is a FREE school trip.
Walk to School – our next “Walk to School” will be on Friday 8th December at 8.20am from Cowan Bridge Village Hall. Those taking part will be rewarded with a lovely breakfast. Please would all parents be aware that the “Walk to School” will only work if enough parents are willing to walk up to school with us.
PTFA Meeting – the PTFA met last Monday to discuss ideas for the months ahead. It has been decided we will be hosting a Christmas Disco on Friday 8th December from 3.15pm – 5pm, this will also be a mufti day for hamper goodies. More details will follow.
Easy Fundraising – is an easy and free way to raise funds for the PTFA every time you shop online. Schools can raise amazing amounts of money through this scheme. It works by parents and family members using easyfundraising.org.uk as a first step to find the retailer they want to buy from online. When you visit a website to buy something via this page it will register your sale. Easy fundraising will receive a donation based on the value of your order which will be passed onto your chosen charity or school. All you need to do is create an account on www.easyfundraising.org.uk; log onto the website and set your cause to St Peters C E Primary School Leck. You don’t have to go through the Easy Fundraising website each time, once you have registered there is a free app you can download for your smart phone or tablet, so it really couldn’t be easier!
Nearly New Uniform Sale – 24th November 2017 – Mrs Galley has been having a sort out of the uniform and will be having a sale straight after school next Friday – if anyone has any they would like to donate, please bring them into school before then, all funds raised go to the PTFA.
The Book People – thank you to those who ordered books, you will find them in today’s Friday bag if you haven’t already picked them up.
Family Club @ Ingleton Community Centre – you’ll find a flyer in your Friday bag this week advertising the Christmas Family Club run by Ingleton Evangelical Church on Sunday 3rd December at 2.30pm.
