8th February 2019
It has been quite the hive of activity this week. On Tuesday, alongside all other schools in the UK we participated in Safer Internet Day activities to promote the importance of keeping safe online. We also celebrated Chinese New Year and the year of the Pig. The infants cooked us all some lovely food to try. On Wednesday, we sent a group of junior children to play football at Arkholme where they all behaved impeccably and played really well together as a team. Please remember to send any kit back to us in a clean, dry condition. Thank you to those already returned.
Young Voices – Thursday 14th – a full information sheet is included in today’s bag. We will meet all parents in the church car park at the end of the night. On Friday 15th February, participating children can come to school for 10am if parents feel they need a lie-in after the late night.
Life Education Bus – once again, the Life Education Bus will be visiting school next Friday. Parents are more than welcome to attend the parent session at 8.55am to hear more about the programme. Charity ‘bendy’ pencils will be available for the children to buy for £1. Please send money in if you would like your child to get one at the end of their session. Thank you.
