26th April 2019
Welcome back, we hope you all had a lovely Easter break and have come back refreshed and relaxed ready for the busy term ahead.
We had a very busy end to term, the infants enjoyed their forest school session with children from Ryelands Primary School on Monday, the weather improved slightly for our Easter activity day and we were able to enjoy the egg hunt and pace throwing on Wednesday afternoon. Thank you to all parents who came along to the junior music performance on Tuesday afternoon, and the Easter service on Thursday evening.
It was lovely to see so many families having fun at the Easter Bunny Drive – the PTFA raised a massive £185.12 from the bunny drive, raffle and tuck shop. Thank you to all for your continued support!
Thank you – we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it to our Parent Help Morning on Saturday 30th March – we managed to get everything done on our list!!
We would also like to thank Mrs Moorby for digging over the flower beds in anticipation of our gardening club transforming them this term!
Infants – please could all infant children bring a photo or picture of a place that is special to them e.g. a den, a favourite part of the house or garden. It needs to be brought in for Thursday 2nd May. Thanks, Mrs Browne.

To parents,
On Friday 24th May, the school council are doing a pyjama disco in the afternoon (2:00-3:15). The children will need to come to school in their pyjamas or onesies, if they would like to. It will cost £2.00 to wear your pyjamas for the day, including snacks and drinks. The money raised is going towards creating a ‘Buddy Bench’ and also to Air Ambulance.
Thank you,
School council
