3rd May 2019
This week has been relatively quiet in school, as will next week as the Y6s prepare for their SATs.
Gardening Club – we would like to thank all the families who bought our fresh herbs – hopefully there will be more to come soon!
Class Newsletter – in this week’s bag, if applicable, you will have a junior summer term newsletter giving you specific information for the term ahead.
PTFA Meeting – the PTFA have planned a meeting for Tuesday 7th May from 2.15pm, please do come along as we will be organising and planning for the summer term ahead, including the jumble sale in June. Thank you. More details to follow.
Bishop’s Bible Challenge – well done to all those junior children who have taken part in this year’s Bishop’s Bible Challenge. The final challenge is enclosed for the month of May. Please complete and return this and any other outstanding sheets ASAP. Thank you.
Welfare Assistant – we are still looking for a welfare assistant. We need someone to help serve meals and supervise the children during their midday break. The vacancy is term time only covering Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 11.45am – 1.15pm. Please contact the office for more details.
Governors – we are actively seeking new governors to join our board – do you know anyone? Ideally, we are looking for non-parental governors, to compliment and work alongside the board we currently have. If you know anyone who may be interested in joining the board, please speak to Stuart Hemingway, either by phone 07706 143 380 or email stuarthemingway@btinternet.com
Thank you.
Have a lovely, long weekend. Fingers crossed for some better weather! See you all on Tuesday 7th May!
