7th June 2019
We’ve had a lovely first week back from half term, we hope the children are well rested and ready for the rather busy term ahead.
This week has been relatively quiet in school but the next few weeks are very busy with sporting events, music concerts, drama days and day trips out so please make sure Friday bags are emptied and read over the weekend and returned to school on a Monday.
The Y6s had quite a few visitors this week, starting on Tuesday afternoon with a visit from Ms Everitt who gave the children a brief overview of life at QES, she also invited the children along to another optional induction (details below), and on Thursday Johanna Doerr came and conducted her research on transition within small schools.
The juniors will have noticed staffing changes this week. Due to some continuing illness Mrs Chesters and Mrs Tidd have now formed a permanent formal job share. Mrs Chesters will teach from Monday to Wednesday lunchtime where Mrs Tidd will take over until Friday afternoon. More details are on the enclosed Junior class newsletter.
