7th February 2020

We’ve had a busy week, in and out of school this week! The infant children are continuing to work towards their Platinum Award with the Woodland Trust in their Forest School sessions – this week they made wormeries with our friends from Hornby St Margaret’s. On Tuesday, 14 children joined the Walk2School and were rewarded with a lovely breakfast upon their arrival at school. Thank you to the parents who stay and help walk the children with us.
Our lower junior footballers made us really proud on Wednesday! They got stuck in and gave it their all, playing really well together as a team! A beaming team photo can be seen on our Facebook page.
Photos of our Y5 & 6 cavers can also be seen on our Facebook page; the children really enjoyed the challenge and although there were a few nerves before the day all the children involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Well done to all involved!

Welfare Assistant – we are desperate for a welfare assistant to join us on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 11.45am – 1.15pm (term time only). We need someone to help serve meals and supervise the children during their midday break.  Please contact the office for more details.
We are looking to appoint two welfare assistants on a Friday, school staff are currently covering this.

Art & Culture Visit – volunteers from Lancaster University will be visiting school on Monday 10th February to spend the day with our children.
