What a great end to the week, and half term! The children, as always, have thoroughly enjoyed the Life Education visit – this year being a pop up tent instead of the bus! Different year groups have enjoyed a variety of sessions including ‘My Wonderful Body; Friends; It’s Great to be Me; and All About Me’.
The visit from the Chinese teachers on Monday was a huge success. The children learnt to write their names in Chinese and made some beautiful willow pattern plates. They also learnt lots about the culture in China, the many different climates & did some number activities. Thank you to Mrs Mather for organising this wonderful experience.
On Tuesday, alongside all other schools in the UK we participated in Safer Internet Day activities to promote the importance of keeping safe online.
We also said goodbye to Mr Preece on Tuesday, he will be really missed by all in school, particularly our infants who have all really enjoyed having him with us. Good luck with the next step Mr Preece!

Times Table Rockstars – we have recently subscribed to TTRS; the juniors and our Y2 children have been introduced to it this week. The reaction so far has been brilliant!
