We’ve had a lovely first week back! We have welcomed Miss Forshaw to the infant class, she will be here for a couple of weeks to aid her Health and Social Care studies.
On Tuesday the hall was a hive of activity as our Reception and Nursey children enjoyed Diddi Dance, thank you to all the parents who joined with pre-school siblings.
There are some fantastic photos on our school Facebook page from the forest school session, children learnt how to us tools safely to whittle sticks to toast their own marshmallows!

Walk to School Breakfast Trek – our next “Walk to School” is TOMORROW at 8.20am from Cowan Bridge Village Hall.  Those taking part will be rewarded with a lovely breakfast when they arrive at school – rumour has it the team are making pancakes!!

REMINDER: Parents Meetings – our spring term round of parents meetings is on Wednesday.
Appointment sheets are available outside the school office, please come into school and choose your preferred 10-minute time slot.
Parents can telephone the office to reserve their appointments if they can’t make it into school.

World Book DayThursday 5th March 2020 – World Book Day is a day set aside every year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators.
You will find a £1 World Book Day token which can be exchanged for one of ten exclusive World Book Day
Books. Vouchers are valid between 27th February and 29th March 2020.
All children are asked to bring their favourite book and an object they can link to it i.e. a bowl for Oliver Twist or Goldilocks – this is for a game we will do in school. The object will stay in school for a week.

Juniors Rugby Club – KLRUFC will be coming into school on Friday lunchtime (12.30-1pm) to offer a lunchtime Rugby club for any junior children.
Children wishing to participate will need appropriate PE kit and outdoor shoes.

Parent Help MorningSaturday 7th March – from 9.30am. Parent help would be greatly appreciated at school – with some tidying and general maintenance jobs. We intend to start from 9.30am onwards and be finished by 12noon. Well behaved, helpful children are always welcome to come along too!
