It has been lovely to have everyone back in school this week! The junior children produced some fantastic work during their isolation period, we can’t wait to put it on display – we’re all really proud of you!
The weather couldn’t have been better for our Forest School session this week. Children learned the valuable lesson of fire building (safely overseen by Mrs Mather, Mrs Browne and Miss Bartle). They were rewarded for their skills by toasting marshmallows! Pictures have been uploaded to our Facebook page.

Infants Outdoor Education Day – the infants will be heading out on our first day visit of the year to Borwick Hall Outdoor Education Centre on Tuesday 20th October.  Day visits are able to go ahead, and whilst we would usually share the experience with our friends at Hornby St Margaret’s we will be going on day trips separately for the foreseeable. More details and a full information sheet will follow.      

Welfare Assistant – we currently have a vacancy for a welfare assistant on a Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 11.45am – 1.15pm (term time only).
We need someone to help serve meals and supervise the children during their midday break.  Please contact the office for more details.

Payment Reminders – there are still some children with accounts outstanding for the last academic year. Reminders have been text and emailed today, we would be grateful if these could be cleared ASAP. Please ensure account balances are kept to a minimum.

PTFA Christmas Cards – the children have all designed Christmas cards this week. Next week parents can have a look at the proof and order any cards. Infant cards will be on display at pick up time on Monday and juniors on Tuesday.  Please keep your distance if there is already a parent having a look at their child’s design – there will be plenty of time for everyone to have a look and order if you come at your allocated collection time. Card orders cannot be sent without prior payment. Thank you.
