19th March 2021

We had a lovely week in school. The children are all enjoying settling back in to our ‘normal’ routine and being in the school environment.

REMINDER: Financial Year End – as we come to the end of our financial year, please can we ask that all SchoolMoney accounts are up to date. Reminder texts were sent out last week. If you are having problems logging in please let us know.

Virtual Parents Meeting – all parents should now have an appointment, for a chance to catch up with class teachers about how children have settled back in to school. Please check your emails and ring the office if you haven’t got an appointment scheduled.

Infants Forest School – the infant children will continue their Forest School activities on Monday afternoon. Children will need appropriate outdoor clothing suitable for the weather including waterproof trousers.

Easter Activity Day – as with most things, our annual Easter Activity Day will be different this year. We will be staggering activities throughout the week as we keep our infant and junior bubbles separate. Attached is a letter explaining the details. All children should bring two hard-boiled eggs to school on Monday.

Healthy Snacks – please may we politely remind all parents of junior children to send HEALTHY snacks in for break time, we are increasingly seeing children with crisps and chocolates. Please can we also ask that these snacks are left handy (i.e. in coat pockets) for the children. Fruit, vegetables, bread sticks, cheese and crackers are all suitable healthy snacks. More information on healthy snacks can be found on the Change4Life website:
