Infants Forest School
It’s Forest School on Monday here at Leck.  Children will need waterproofs and wellies with warm socks – please ensure they come with plenty of layers and hats, scarves and gloves too.
Please could all infants bring in an empty baked bean can (or similar) for Monday too please.

Mondays ‘Cookie Dough Pizza’ bakers will be baking on Tuesday 17^th instead.

Swimming
Swimming sessions will re-commence on Monday 16^th January 2017, could all years 3, 4 and 5s please remember to bring your kit into school.

KS1 Gym Skills
Some of our infant children will be attending a Gym Skills workshop at Quernmore on Friday 20^th January. There is an information sheet in your Friday bag for those parents of children involved.  Please make sure the children have their PE kit in school along with a warm sweatshirt and jogging bottoms. They should also bring a named bottle of water. Thank you.

Junior Class Newsletter
In this week’s bag, you will have a separate junior spring term newsletter from Mrs Wheatley giving you specific information on this terms topics.

Mini Macbeth Play in a Day
We have booked a “Shakespeare 4 Kidz Play in a Day Workshop” for children in Year 5 & 6 on Tuesday 24^th January.  There will be a presentation to parents at 2.45pm to which all years 5 & 6 parents are invited, we hope you can all make it.

Piano Lessons with Mrs Lawrence
Mrs Lawrence has an unexpected vacancy for private tuition piano lessons on a Thursday lunchtime. Please let us know in the school office if your child would like to learn.

Infants Art Project
Please could all junior children be collecting plastic carrier bags, polystyrene pizza bases and newspapers for an upcoming art project. The items can be brought in to school from now. Thank you in advance.
