29th March 2019

Well it has been a rather busy morning in school today – many thanks to all the parents, babies and toddlers who joined us for the morning; we hope you all enjoyed yourselves.
We’ve also had another busy week in school, the children will certainly be ready for the half term holidays by the end of next week.
Our infant children all had a fantastic day out at Blackpool Zoo, the sun was shining and they got to see lots of wonderful animals. Thank you to Mrs Mair (Charlie’s Mum) for transporting and assisting us on the day!
The upper junior rugby team had a great time at the rugby event at Wray and all played really well as a team on Wednesday afternoon, well done team!

Parent help would be greatly appreciated at school – we will be clearing the pond and garden, washing the yurt, the infant decking and small patio area, there is also a small area of wall which needs rebuilding if anyone has any expertise in that area, as well as some general maintenance jobs. We intend to start from 9.30am onwards and finish by lunchtime. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible – well behaved, helpful children are always welcome to come along too!

Infants Forest School – infants will be continuing their Forest School Adventures on Monday 1st April with children from Ryelands Primary School. Children will need appropriate outdoor clothing suitable for the weather, including waterproofs. Children will be provided with lunch and will get their usual snack, so no need to send anything in.
