25th September 2020
What a very strange week we’ve had in school; it has been very quiet!
We welcomed Mrs Browne back into the infant class today as part of her phased return to the classroom! The children were all excited to see her; it’s lovely to have you back Mrs Browne!
We hope all junior children and their families are keeping well at home. We are looking forward to welcoming you all back on Wednesday 30th September, please remember to let us know if any children or family members develop symptoms, you can either email or phone the office.
Infants OneDrive – homework is being uploaded to the OneDrive on a Thursday. A reminder email went out earlier this week with login details; please contact me if you haven’t received it. Thank you.
Infants Forest School – the infants, including nursery until lunchtime, will be continuing their Forest School Adventures on Thursday. They will need appropriate outdoor clothing suitable for the weather. If they have waterproof trousers please send them, as the ground is often damp even if it’s not actually raining. A hat, scarf and gloves may be useful too, given the cold, windy weather we’ve had recently.
Newspaper – the infant class are in need of some newspaper for crafting – please send any in on Monday and we will be able to use it in our lesson at the end of the week. Thank you.
REMINDER: Library Bus – please can all infant children return their library books this Tuesday. All junior children should bring them back to school upon their return on Wednesday please.
CANCELLED: School Photographs – the school photographer from Tiny Pixels who was due to come on Monday has been CANCELLED. We will rearrange individual photographs for a date in the future.
PTFA News – the Bag2School collection raised £33.90.
Apologies to anyone who thought they could drop the bags throughout the day on Tuesday, it was clearly stated on previous newsletters that bags should be at school before 9am.
