Young Voices Friday February 10th– Children will be leaving Leck at 10.30am, with a brunch being provided by the cook at Hornby School (so that they have one hot meal during the day), any children who don’t usually have a lunch on a Friday will need to pay £2.20. National Literacy Week Next week is National Literacy Week, which we will be celebrating at the beginning of the week with a visit from Lancashire Library Services who have planned workshops including poetry, twisted tales and animal stories. On Tuesday, the Upper Juniors will have a Shakespeare day (more information below) and the Lower Juniors and Infants will have a “Shaun Tan” morning, followed by watching the Roald Dahl classic “The BFG” in the afternoon. Infants Forest School It’s Forest School on Monday here at Leck. Children will need waterproofs and wellies with warm socks - please ensure they come with plenty of layers and hats, scarves and gloves too.
