We’ve all had a great last week to finish of this half-term. All children had a thoroughly enjoyable day out in Lancaster on Tuesday, it was a shame about the weather but it didn’t dampen our spirits. The junior children enjoyed spending time at the City Museum with Marcus the Roman and the infant children stepped back in time at Judge’s Lodgings to see the toys which had been played with hundreds of years ago. We’ve had a lovely week in school this week. Thank you to all those parents who attended their virtual parents meeting this week, we really do value the opportunity to catch up with parents. It has been another quiet week in school. This week children may have shared with you the news that Mrs Chesters has retired, we wish her the very best in her retirement. Mrs Cottam will continue in her role through to the end of this academic year when we will look to appoint a permanent teacher. We have had another quiet week in school. Some of the junior children were due to take part in the Cross Country event at Tatham Fells last Monday. Unfortunately, it was cancelled because of the autumnal weather.
